Camping Reservations

All campsites in Garibaldi Provincial Park are operated on a first-come, first serve basis. Campsites and shelters CANNOT be reserved.

Before you leave, you should obtain a Backcountry Permit from BC Parks. The permit will cover your camping fees but will not guarantee you a spot. As of 2014, the fee to camp is $10 per person, per night, or $5 per child (6-15 years) per night.

Be prepared to camp in wilderness conditions and do not expect to get a campsite at the Garibaldi Lake campground. There is limited space at Garibaldi Lake and the popular campsite fills up most weekends in the summer. If the campsite is full, you will have to hike to the Taylor Meadows campsite. Be prepared for this.
