Hiking
The hike to Garibaldi Lake is one of the best in south western British Columbia. There are hiking trails that also continue to Black Tusk and Panorama Ridge, both of which offer some of the most incredible scenery within Garibaldi Provincial Park.
The hiking trails are most commonly accessed from the Rubble Creek parking lot off the Sea To Sky Highway, but the area can also be accessed from the Cheakamus Lake parking lot via Helm Creek, a much longer route to Garibaldi Lake. The hike to Garibaldi lake should be attempted by those who are physically fit as it is a fairly constant uphill trail for the first 6+km.
The longer hikes can be done as day-hikes but are quite difficult and camping is preferred to give you extra day(s) to do the trails as overnight hikes.
