Panorama Ridge offers an incredible view overlooking Garibaldi Lake. The hike is a very long, strenuous day-hike as it's 29km (18 miles) roundtrip from the Rubble Creek parking lot with 1520 meters (4987 feet) of elevation gain. The hike is best done as a multi-day trip with camping at Garibaldi Lake, Taylor Meadows, or Helm Creek.
From the Rubble Creek parking lot, follow the trail uphill through the winding switchbacks until just beyond the 6km marker where you reach a junction. Go left at the junction and continue hiking through the Taylor Meadows campground going straight through the next two junctions. Pass the junction to Black Tusk and continue as the trail passes through a relatively level section before reaching another junction where the view looks out towards the Helm Creek area.
Go right and begin your ascent to Panorama Ridge. The trail is dirt for the first part but then becomes rocks but the well worn path should be easy to see. Use your hands to scramble up the steep rock until you reach the top. On a clear day, the 360-degree view is incredible!
If you are returning to the Rubble Creek parking lot that same day and have a bit of extra time, you can take the trail from the junction before Taylor Meadows down to Garibaldi Lake. This will add about an hour to your hike, so make sure you leave yourself enough time as you do not want to be stuck on the trail when it's dark.
